trail update for 2/11/07

snowmobilers were out in great numbers yesterday, we had a full house yesterday , with lots of new comers. trails were excellent yesterday morning if you were there early enough. groomers were out last night went C4 TO MILITARY RD TO NORWAY AND ALSO C4 TO STRATFORD, SCANDIC WAS OUT DOING TO SALISBURY CTR AND BACK TO THE CLUB 3 TIMES TO HELP OUT WITH THAT TRAIL. we did get a couple inches of snow last night, but we are getting powdered snow and it's not good snow to be groomed, it does not pack good, like a wet packy snow. we were asked at the club why we don't groom during the day, it's because too much traffic and to many near crashes with the groomer, at night they can see the lights and much safer. we do have a black board on the wall at the club with the trail report of trail condions and when last groomed, check it out as you exit the club house near the juke box.
