trails conditions for1/24/07
last sat. we received 6 - 8 " of snow , we been out clearing trees out from the ice rain, most trails have been cleared. it has snowed a couple of inches of snow every day this week and predicting some snow all week, but cold (below zero) at night.still light on snow , many hazards on the trails rocks , stumps , ruts and water holes. please stay on trails , we are having many problems with landowners, they want to shut trails off, you are endangering the sport of snowmobiling, respect the landowners and stay on trails.C4 TRAIL TO NORWAY BEEN GROOMED, EXCELLENT SHAPE. TRAIL HAS BEEN CLOSED OFF FROM RT 29 TO ICE HOUSE, DUE TO LANDOWNERS WISHES, TAKE C4A TO C8A THEN TO C4D TO ICE HOUSE. C4A TO STRATFORD OPEN BUT HAS NOT BEEN GROOMED. C8C TO DOLGEVILLE, GOOD TO COMSTOCK LOGGING SUPPLIES TRAIL WAS PACKED DOWN WITH GROOMER AND TREES CLEARED LAST SATURDAY, BEST BET IS TO TAKE C8C TO S84 TO ROD AND GUN CLUB AND TO DOLGEVILLE TO DOPPS AND FAST TRAC, TRAIL IS STILL CLOSED C8A FROM DOLGEVILLE TO KEYSER LAKE TILL MONDAY ? BE SAFE AND JOIN A CLUB, AND REPECT THE LANDOWNERS.
snow update
the weather man lied, we only received about three inches of the white gold. temps will be cooler this week, will help to build base.

Weather Forecast
We are under a snow watch for lake effect snow of six inches overnight. It is snowing now and the watch goes till 6 am tomorrow. Hopefully we will get much more than that but we are happy to see it snowing either way.

Winter has arrived
It seems that winter has finally arrived. The parking lot was full today.

Lake effect storm in progess. forecast for at least eight inches. let's hope for more than that.
